A treatise recently signed by recognized Islamic Holy men and extremist leaders, states how nowhere in the Koran does God (Allah) condone human violence against another human being. Similarly, the bible does not condone male dominance over the female. The patriarchic interpretation is of selected bible verses that are themselves a compilation of scriptures originally based on the Codex Vaticanus oldest manuscripts of Greek, Old and New Testament + centuries of careful editing. The bible’s first account of God creating human beings is Genesis 1: 26 Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness…” In the process of edits the next verse changes “us” to “he” and “our” to “his”; Genesis 1: 27 God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them. Later in Genesis 2 is a complete re-draft: 22. Then the Lord God made a woman from the part he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
