A tribute to Makybe Diva on the foreshore. Port Lincoln has the most millionaires per capita than any other city in Australia. All on the back of tuna and prawns. A trip to Coffin Bay and the national park. More amazing coastline and lots of big waves. Coffin bay is not named after a coffin in the bay but after Sir Isaac Coffin who was commissioned to build the Investigator for Mathew Flinders in 1799. When Flinders sailed this area he named the bay after Coffin. Such a dull story. I would much prefer the mystery of a coffin floating in from the ocean. But history cant be changed. Oh well. In the bay some pelicans and I saw a seal splashing about. A sleepy holiday village but nice. All the oysters are sent to Sydney and Melbourne so none to be bought.
