A tune that was signed to a bigger label. We had disagreements - in their words, they wanted to make the person behind the Fanu artist name way bigger and had massive plans for that (quoting them), hence refusing to release anything under the Fanu name even though I said thats an artist name Ive put a hell of a lot of work in for. The last straw for the project was when I suggested taking one tune off the project (not this one) for a project of my own, and they kicked me out straight away, calling it quits. No questions asked, no discussion. On top of it all, they, in their own words, said theyd make sure that no label would touch Fanu in the future either. People are a funny breed, arent they? Forthcoming on Lightless at some point. Moral of the story? Do your own label and stick with it.
