A very busy day today for the Cambodia team. To help us better understand Cambodias tragic past, we visited the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (the former S-21 prison) and the Choeung Ek Memorial (the Killing Fields). This afternoon, we were privileged to meet with the Executive Director and the Resource Mobilisation Advisor of local NGO, Life With Dignity (formerly Lutheran World Federation Cambodia). The team learned so much about sustainable development and social justice from these men, who are so passionate about empowering those living in poverty in Cambodia. Finally, many new friendships were formed during our first evening of fellowship with the students and staff of the Rainbow Hostel (a tertiary student hostel run by Lutheran World Mission).
