A very lengthy & angry statement released by Sporting on their website directed at Doyen/Rojo. Following the announcement of the fund on the athlete Doyen Marcos Rojo, comes the Sporting Clube de Portugal, Futebol, SAD hereby clarify and communicate: a) The Sporting Clube de Portugal is unquestionable for the sports world, particularly for football reputable entity with 108 years of history and real value; b) The Sporting has no predefined targets or prejudice against anything or anyone who presents a credible, transparent and added value to the real world of football. It turns out that Sporting has risen up and continue to rise up against those who, to you in particular or football in general, appear to be factors of destabilization or manipulation; c) Practices that do not meet what is our vision of sport and the fairness of the procedures and values we stand for, will always find our firmest opposition; d) the interests of transparency that all stakeholders in the football world should be guided, it is important that the Doyen identify their corporate group structure, as statements about societies that never were related to the Sporting are being made, as the Doyen marketing, and to identify their funders and beneficial owners; e) The Sporting admitted to the athletes agent the possibility of their transfer on terms that were advantageous to the Club and to allow maintenance of other assets.
