A very special thrill tonight: Dinner with the Muscogee-Creek members of the Native Praise Choir, Native American LINK. They were in Alabama to sing at the bicentennial remembrance of the Battle of Horseshoe Bend. After the Creeks were defeated, it wasnt long until they were forced from their ancestral lands. There were Christians among the Muscogee-Creeks who walked the Trail of Tears to Oklahoma in the 1830s. Tonight the ladies shared their history, but more importantly their plans to share faith with their tribe and with people in other lands.
