A volunteer writes: Tiny Alex is silent and calm in his kennel. Twelve year old....Found as a stray, in a park....I thought I would be dealing with a falling apart elderly dog...Not at all...Alex is up and about. A little dog on the go, great on the leash and nice meeting other small or big dogs. He eliminates as soon as we reach the yard and hops with help on the bench next to me , then on my lap. What a lovely little guy, all silky, non matted but quite thin under his coat. Alex is sweet and gentle and loves the attention. Could he be a lost dog? I guess we will know in a few days if someone comes and claims him...If not...He will be an adorable companion to the lucky person who will adopt him. Alex is at the Manhattan Care Center, waiting patiently for his lucky star to shine.
