A weak-willed force-in-the-sky god who can no more make decisions than the double-minded creatures he has teamed-up with to determine the outcome of the universe is a god who no more deserves the title than you or I. A god who prays to his creation in hopes that his will be done is a sad, pitiful, puny, and silly god who only believes himself to be so. This is not the God of the Scriptures. I form light and create darkness, I make success and create disaster; I, Yahweh, do all these things. (Is 45:7) Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor? Or who has ever first given to Him, and has to be repaid? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. (Rom 11:33–36)
