A while ago I was going to town to pick up some groceries. We have an elderly neighbor that does not have any family close by. When she started receiving food stamps she asked me if I would be an authorized user on her card, so that I could pick things up her, when she needed assistance. I, of course, said yes. So on this day I was going to the "day old" store in Petoskey. She asked me to pick up a few things for her. I paid for my own purchases. As I was paying for hers the people in line behind me started saying nasty things to me because I have a new vehicle and they assumed they were my food stamps. That is where a lot of hate and misunderstanding happens. (J)
