A while ago, the lovely folks at Tombow sent me some correction tapes to review, and because they did, I will do my best to review them. - Tombow Mono Original Correction Tape – Today, I will review the Mono Original Correction Tape. As you hold it, it has a great quality feel. The whole thing is made of 70% post-consumer waste, and a majority of their correction tapes are made of post-consumer waste. The back is a solid black color and the front is clear with a smokey tint with some info (company and model name). On the front, there is a slot where you are able to turn and tighten up the tape if you were to have some extra slack. When you swipe across, it leave a nice 1/6in. line with a smooth flow. Depending on how you write, you may have to swipe twice to cover your mistake. Tombow uses “Break Proof Tape” that won’t break on you as you’re swiping across. On a hard surface, you have no issues at all, but you have to be careful on soft surfaces because the tape split in two where half of the correction tape would still stick to the tape still unless you press down a bit harder to get an even line. The Mono Original Correction Tape comes in a single color (clear front with a solid black back). However, there is also the Retro that comes in 8 different colors: 4 contemporary and 4 basic, and have the same features as the Original. Prices range from $4.10/ea. to $34.98 for a 10-pack. Tombow has been making correction tapes for quite some time now and it shows in there quality. There may be others out there any even less expensive, but give this one a shot and you may be very pleased with it. Score: 3.50pts / 5pts I hope you enjoyed the review for the Tombow Original Correction Tape. Leave your comments down below and feel free to let me know what you look for in using and buying correction tape. Any little bit of info will always help! Have a great day everyone!
