A while ago we had it posted on AFRN that all music must be mailed to AFRTS which is the old governemt radio and television service. They sent me a letter after about a year asking me to take that post down because they don’t play your music and have no intentions of doing so. I even offered them a way of doing it but they just don’t care. I have the email correspondence to show you. So after much thought I decided to take my own station which is kozmikradio and donate several hours a day (5) towards your music because I believe that considering that these are our family, our sons and daughters fighting for our country, keeping the enemies from our soil and standing in harm’s way that we should be able to at least have the right to show our thanks and appreciation in a heartwarming way which is through music. Music as you know is universal, fact is that there are well over 6912 different languages in this world, now if you take all of those people and put them into a large concert hall and started humming music, no words, just humming and instruments, before you know all 6912 would be joining in. My point is music is the only true communication between mankind that all humans relate too thereby making it a universal language. So what better way to express love and gratitude towards those who serve and have served than with music! We have many various cultures within the military and music appeals to them all. When we launched we reached such a high number of people we needed help and my friends at Spacial Audio came through very fast. Now we have two stations and a separate website for the Armed Forces Radio, plus a Facebook Page. Stephen and Hans Oropallo worked their butts of trying to recruit as much talent to be able to successfully launch on July 4th. We should all be grateful for their dedication as well. So now we need another place to set the computer up and stream it un-interrupted. We can do that and we will, we need more of you to send in the music, stories of past was experiences, remembering war buddies and family. We will have news and more, Record station Identifications, if you and I work together we can show our own government that we are strong and can do this without them. I have more to tell you if you wish to read it, but trust me when I say this, the government doesn’t give a hoot about what you feel. And I think it is wrong and that is why we worked hard to to do.
