A while back some one posted the word, paracosm on the page. I have researched that word, and want to say thank you. As a child and as a woman and as an author I am a creator of paracosms, secret or literary dreamworlds. And finding this word has been clarifying and helpful to me. (Since early childhood, I have had a secret and complex paracosm that never stops growing, all about hundreds of imaginary people in an imaginary country; the intricacy of it today is astonishing. I could never commit all the names and histories, towns, cities or neighborhoods, political developments and cultural developments of that secret dream world to paper. The worlds I create in my novels are separate paracosms.)
