A wild day!! Hiya you all..!! Only me..!! For a change, an early missive from Tractor Bumble.. Thats because, thanks to my good friend, Ole, we have arrived at Alta, and in a hotel..!! Yeeha!! Another day of excitement!! You must know by now we dont do dull..!! Sat sitting here, thawing out..my constant companion today has been the wind!! And lots of it!! At times I felt Annie was chugging UP the hills faster than down them!! Mostly the strong gale was behind us, and then a gust would swipe from the side..!! Thankfully the road was largely free of traffic..and lots of space to accommodate the slewing entourage across the centre lines!! The wind..my friend, my foe!! Dry but cold, so cold!! And stretches of ice to focus the mind..! I cant believe Ive travelled so far, and the weather hasnt been more of a challenge..I knew it would be cold..still no snow of any significance.. Still, the dust kicked up has made up for it!! Especially more roadworks, on a major scale! Dirty, grubby.. A shower (or three!!) will help!! And into Alta..the relief!! I now join you from the luxury of the dining table, by myself..something I said?? Meatballs and wine!! Oh, I must round off on this..surreal moment! Overtaking me today, (lets face it, nothing new there!!)..a van, sign written, Odd Mathison (given, not the exact spelling!)..I cant make it up!! I did chuckle!! And not a word..you hear!!!!
