A woman in a fibro group with me. Shes not happy! OMG! Well, what a shock I had today! I called to order both Rxs of My insulin and was told it would be $760. I told the girl I pay $76 for them. She said I hit The Doughnut Hole in My insurance coverage. I have to pay over $4,000 to meet my part and from then on I will have to pay over $700 a month for each insulin, not to mention the 10 other Rxs I have for heart, B/P, cholesterol,etc. All I could do was laugh....the girl kept asking me if I was alright! I said,Would You be? I called the insurance co. and the girl was very nice. She filled out forms and sent them in to ask for help. They work fast--got a denial call less than an hour later! So, I have about a week to ten days of insulin... I will be calling around to see what I can find out. I went through all this a few months ago when My co-pay went up and got turned down by every place I called but now it is even worse... some days are not worth getting out of bed!! Diabetes or not..Im having a cookie!
