A woman just texted me and told me shes tired of dealing with bs because we dated and didnt work out. I was nice, friendly, honest and we did not work. After we didnt work I was still kind, polite, respectful and honest. People think gentlemen are weak. Without raising my voice or cursing I let her know her number will be blocked for life, to act like she doesnt know me when she sees me and understand we are not friends. Never allow someone to call you trash, talk down on you or degrade your value! Dont explain to someone why you deserve respect, just find people who want to respect you! None of us are rugs for someone to wipe their feet on or punching bags for people to abuse so they can blow off steam! Verbal abuse is abuse as well, and just because our culture does it far too much and too often doesnt make it any less wrong or damaging! Loving yourself means you have standards for the people you allow in your life!
