A wonderful young 15 year old friend with brain cancer is experiencing a return of the cancer in other areas of his body. Extensive treatment, fatigue, hospitalization was at home for a few days now has shingles requiring further hospitalization because his system is compromised with the shingles virus. Parents are so disappointed, devastated and discouraged, but how did Joel respond? Oh well, my hospital bed is even more comfortable than my bed at home. I cant wait to see the nurses because they are so wonderful and really-the hospital food is pretty good! That is reframing at its finest!!! Taking a set back and turning it on its head with positivity. What a strong inspirational young man! We love you Joel and are holding you and your family so close in our thoughts and prayers!!
