A word about our newly formed womens theater ensemble: Her Story was formed for women who have honestly identified that they have a desire to grow spiritually, creatively, confidently and want to connect with other women. The women who came honestly accept that they need to connect with women on a level that they may have never been able to obtain on their own. I believe that there many women who will read this who may be purposely disconnecting themselves with women because of negative experiences, fear of being hurt, trust issues, etc, There also may be women who are trying to lead women in ministry, at work, etc and really have never connected with women on a personal level and/or are holding on to unresolved issues with certain women in their lives. There may be women who mostly value womanhood from a physical perspective rather than what their hearts and minds, spirits have to offer. We want to see women empowered in love, moving forward without fear of rejection. We want to see women become catalyst for a chain of positive, fruitful relationships among women. So many women must make room in their lives for organizations like Her Story. It is my belief, that at some point, we must value each other equally and realize, just how much we need each other.
