A worrying post from someone who attended todays march (from the event page) Apparantly a small group of friends were questioned by police while waiting for a train home. Such invasion and interogation for seemingly no reason. Please read When my two friends and I were catching the the train home after the march we had an altercation with the police. We walked into the train station and sat down on a seat. A few seconds later two police officers walk up to us and asked us if we had tickets. We said, no out train doesnt come for 20 minutes we dont have them yet. They said, well make sure you get your tickets. We said, okay. They then asked, well then wheres your tickets? We said, we didnt have them yet. That went on a couple times. They said we were lucky we didnt get charged for not having a ticket and we were just getting a warning. Then they saw our Guy Fawkes masks and asked, if we were the ones harassing Campbell Newman? We told them we were just protesting the new laws and corruption in government. They then asked if we were bikies. They individually named all the bikie gangs they could think of and asked if we were associated with them, we all said no. They then asked if we had bmx bikes and if we were bmx bandits. We said no again and then they forced us to provide them with our details. Has it really come to the point where we are getting questioned for sitting down on a seat? -CS
