A year ago Mohammed Morsi took power in Egypt and the people - TopicsExpress

A year ago Mohammed Morsi took power in Egypt and the people supported him. They ousted their former leader; President Honsi Mubarak for a man whom they believed would restore Egypt to greatness and move their new capital from Cario to Jerusalem. Now Egypt is faced with a broken economy, shattered lives and the possibility of a civil war. President Obama felt it was in the best interest of the United States to support Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist body. What will happen to Egypt? We have in the Hebrew Scriptures the prophetic message of what God will be doing to Egypt. The events happening all over the Middle East (Arab Spring) is just the beginning of birth pangs. Things will not get better in the immediate future, for God has a plan. Isaiah 19:2-4 2 "I will make the Egyptians fight against each other--brother against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, province against province. 3 The Egyptians will lose heart, and I will confuse their plans. They will plead with their idols for wisdom. They will call on spirits, mediums, and psychics to show them which way to turn. 4 I will hand Egypt over to a hard, cruel master, to a fierce king," says the Lord, the LORD Almighty. NLT The above passage was written 700 years before the Common Era and it is being fulfilled before our eyes. God is doing something great and we are in the mist of it. Perhaps we should consider seeking the God of Heaven and begin to study his revelation to us the Holy Scriptures. We have everything to gain and nothing to lose. youtu.be/QI3wG3loKlA
