A year gone, and the changes this year were significant. I saw my wife step up to the challenges before her an handle it with grace and beauty. Ive watched my son learn some good and bad lessons, and still move forward with purpose and passion. Ive witnessed my daughter becoming a woman, independent and strong an adventurous. I have seen some friends conquering some horrific challenges, and some not. Our country remains ever embroiled in the controversy of the moment, and glossing over the very real threats on the horizon. In the course of this year I saw a lot of pain, grief, and fear, as well as love, peace, and contentment. And now we get another chance to right the wrongs, to mend the fences, to set things straight. So, here is hoping for the Best and Happiest of New Years to everyone of us. If you are near someone you love tonight, let them know it. Until next year, everyone be safe.
