AAJ KI RECIPE ....DAHI VADA... Dahi vada__garnish with tamarind chutney and coriander leaves. Preparation time: - 15 min For preparing curd out of milk (1/2 day) Cooking time: – 20 mins. Ingredients: • Vari/ samak chawal- 1katori • Curd- 2 katoris • Finely chopped cucumber- 1/2 cup • Chopped green chilly- 1 • Red chilli powder- 1/4 tsp. • Roasted cumin seed powder- 1 tsp • Coriander leaves • Ghee- 1tsp • Rock salt to taste. • Honey- 1 tsp • Tamarind chutney- 1 tsp. Method: 1. Wash samak chwal/ vari with water & cook in the pressure cooker (same as rice). 2. Add chopped green chilli, salt, cumin seed powder in cooked Vari. 3. Make medium sized tikkies out of the above cooked mixture. 4. Shallow fry the tikkies in ghee. 5. Whip the curd & add 1 tsp of honey, chopped cucumber, red chilli powder, cumin seed powder and coriander leaves to it. 6. Place the tikkies in a serving plate; add whipped curd on top of the tikkies. Garnish with tamarind chutney and coriander leaves. 7. Serve
