AAP says Electricity tariff to be reduced by 50% in its manifesto...!! LOL...!! Utter non-sense!! How did Arvind Kejriwal conclude that 50 percent is the correct figure? Governments finds it tough to figure out the right prices therefore they use market competition as the Competitive markets do a better job in limiting the minimum charges . As per the manifesto it is clear that threats will be issued and even the licenses could be cancelled and all this over-powering act might scare away the private sector and take Delhi back to the bad old days of the state-owned DESU (Delhi Electricity Supply Undertaking), where the tariffs will be lower but there will be no power for several hours in a day...!!
