AB 140 is the outcome of an ingenious hydrodynamic and technological study whose aim was to obtain extraordinary performances with modest power, yet ensuring an excellent comfort of navigation also in rough seas. All of this has come true thanks to a careful construction work, focusing on weights and their distribution, with use of advanced composites like Kevlar and Carbon. The results are extraordinary: AB 140 reaches 46 knots of maximum speed and 43 knots of cruising speed (half loaded) with 7800 horse power, thanks to three engines of 2600 HP coupled with three water-jets. But what is even more interesting is the outcome obtained with only two working engines, that is with only 5200 HP: 34.5 knots of maximum speed and 32 knots of cruising speed, and relying on 23.000 liters of fuel capacity, AB 140 has a range of 950 miles with manifest benefits for economy and pollution. As a matter of fact, if compared with traditional motoryachts, AB 140 offers a 60% cosumption reduction. Each AB 140 is completely custom made, in fact it is a “custom yacht” in every respect. The height of interiors is never lower than 2,4 meters, the quality of furnishings and the logic of arrangement of spaces make it an incomparable yacht. On the outside privacy reigns, with four areas that are well distinct and separate, equipped with accessories and unique services that make cruises fantastic and really special.
