AB 48 passed Senate Public safety committee. I have however been researching this bill a little bit. It would appear that this is the same bill that they have been trying to get through since 2003, Mostly by DeLeon. It has either always failed at the end or been vetoed. All hope is not lost. Remember they still have one more committee vote, one full Senate vote and then on to Brown.
