Please Read: PRESIDENT JONATHAN MEETS CHADIAN COUNTERPART OVER INSECURITY Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Jonathan will today, visit Ndjamena, Chad for talks with his Chadian counterpart, President Idriss Deby. The discussion will dwell on the current effort by the Nigerian Government to build stronger alliance against terrorism and violent extremism. A statement issued yesterday by the Presidential Media Aide, Dr Reuben Abati, said the talks with the current Chairman of the African Union’s Peace and Security Council, is a follow up on last week’s talks in Nairobi, during the African Union Peace and Security Summit. Dr Abati added both leaders will discuss the further actualization of cooperation against insurgents and terrorists reached by Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon at a meeting in Paris earlier this year. President Jonathan, who returns to Nigeria tomorrow, is accompanied by the National Security Adviser, Minister of Communication Technology, as well as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and the Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency. They will be Special Guests at an international conference on Information Technology also holding in Ndjamena. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, thats the story.
