ABUSE OF OFFICE : The state of the nation today is worrisome, if u understand what is going on today on every conceivable level of government. From the bottom up, nothing is working !. Theres a total breakdown in government functions. Everything that is in place to make government work and serve the ppl has been turned upside down to make it not work. Fact that ppl indulge while in office, is nothing new around the world. What we have in Nigeria goes beyond that. What we have is a blatant ABUSE of OFFICE, that has given rise to its worse form, IMPUNITY. What usually follow impunity is ANARCHY. Following this trend is why the state of the nation is worrisome, get it. When INDUCEMENTS or subtle INDULGENCES are no longer hidden. When illegal actions suffers no consequences, the law become invalid. The process and the country will break down. It becomes a free 4 all. If u look at countries that was once stable, but today a shell of its former self, this was how it happened. Everything u see today in terms of corruption is not new. Whats new is, the TOLERANCE and almost a PUBLIC ENDORSEMENT of this illegality from the top. Alarming is the unprecedented level of abuse of office, by allegations of embezzlement with disregard for law or public rebuke. Everything is falling apart like a brick wall in Nigeria today. Many of those criticizing this administration are not saints by any means, but they know the danger in what is now an acceptable practice in government, if not checked. Its a case of honor amongst thieves. If I start to list the cases of corruption that this administration has gone to sleep on, or, waiting for the wind to blow over it, the figures will run into TRILLIONS. The one that I still cant get over is the $20billlion reported MISSING. Which our esteem finance minister said; its not MISSING, its only UNACCOUNTED for. Whichever English she feel is appropriate to use to acct for this fund is the least of my concern, so far, she can show us the MONEY ! Has she been able since then to account for it, is my question ? And if its unaccounted for as she claimed, how was she able to arrive at the $10-12 Billion mark, that she unaccounted for ? Where did that kind of money walked away to, and disappeared into a few pockets in Nigeria ? Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, should be charged to court for even opening her mouth to say such nonsense, if the law permit. Shes not only the finance minister, but also the coordinating minister of the economy, imagine such utterances coming from her. We are in trouble with the fools running Nigeria today ! What exactly is she coordinating if she cant explain or account for what and where our money is coming in from, and what or who theyre spending it on? Mr Presidents position on this matter is, the UNITED STATES will know if the money is missing. The man is a modern day Robin Hood What a clueless statement to make as the President of a nation. Our President talk like someone that just woke up from sleep on national issues that need his full attention. Mentioning the United States is the very reason why he should act decisively on the matter. If a billion is missing or unaccounted for in the USA, the Secretary of the Treasury, whos our minister of finance, will not have the audacity to tell American public that the money is just unaccounted for, and still keep his/her job. And thats the biggest economy in the world. We are number what in the world, yet we act like thats nothing ? I told my friends a while back that, I wont be surprise one day if someone is accused of embezzling#1 trillion naira in this country. When I said that, never did I think it will happen in less than 25yrs at this rate. What I didnt know was, I was living in the past. Imagine the rot in this country with $10-12 billion unaccounted for ? No wonder Obama, call Nigeria leadership, UNSERIOUS. This administration will go down on record as the most reckless and clueless in the history of this country, till date. Good morning friends.
