ACADEMIC RETROSPECTION! The Multifarious Characteristics of the Filipinos. The recent academic review on the many strengths and weaknesses of Filipino character extended on this social media previously, have revealed that there is so much good in the Filipinos. But similarly, there are also bad points that described the frailty in character of the Filipinos. Yet there is also an indication that the strong points are also the cause of Filipino weakness in character. Filipinos are mainly family oriented, adaptable, resilient, and resourceful. He is also known to be prolific with a good sense of humor. His faith in God is source of strength and courage. As a people, Filipinos are very concerned to other people and yet indifferent to some. Although he is capable of sympathy, yet he is selfish and envious of others. Lastly, Filipinos are hard working but equally lazy sometimes on occasion. However, his casual work ethic doesnt coincide with the norm when he waits for orders and instructions instead of making an initiative! Truly the Filipino has multifarious characteristics..!
