I know this is for lost and found, but we need some advice. We took our new puppy into the vet 4 weeks ago (10 weeks old) and he said that she had a heart murmur and that we should be on the look out for anything that changes. When i went to visit my sister over the weekend (working Vet Tech with a degree) she said that she couldnt hear a heart murmur at all. Today she went back to the vet for her shots and he said that her heart murmur is pretty bad and that if she was a human they would be doing surgery (not taking into consideration that she was wiggling all over the place while he was trying to listen). Needless to say, if it was that bad my sister should have heard something, and if it was that bad she should have some kind of physical response that he said she should have (which she doesnt) We want a second opinion. He didnt allow us to listen so we really do not know what the deal is on that. Can anyone recommend a vet to take her to? We paid $40 bucks this morning for a vet visit, and to get her into the vet we originally wanted to take her to it will cost us another $50 just for someone to listen to her heart again. any help would be appreciated.
