ACC Awaits Evidence on Judiciary The Anti Corruption Commission says it will only act on reported corruption on the judiciary when evidence is presented to it. ACC Public Relations Manager Timothy Moono said although the acting Chief Justice Lombe Chibesakunda admitted her organization was bedeviled with corruption the anti graft body will not act until they are furnished with names. Moono said his organization will wait for evidence from anyone alleging corruption. “We appreciate what madam Chibesakunda and indeed what many other stakeholders said but we will appreciate if we are furnished with evidence,” he said. “We will act but only when we have evidence or specific names are given to us.” The ACC has been indifferent towards investigating corruption with cases of high profile figures fizzling out after high profile publicized inquiries. So far on the high profile list former deputy ministers Ronald Chitotela, Rogers Mwewa, Justice Minister Wynter Kabimba among others. zambiareports/2014/07/07/acc-awaits-evidence-judiciary/
