ACL Reconstruction w/Meniscus repair surgery is done. - Thanks to everyone for your prayers, concerns, notes, calls, texts, etc. What is normally a 2 hour procedure took 5 hours...went from what was supposed to be outpatient surgery to an inpatient stay of 2 days due to post-surgery complications from the anesthesia. - All said, I am home now. I am in good hands with good pain meds. My return to the field, dojo, lakefront, gym, etc.. starts Tuesday. I can now have my life back. - NOTE TO EVERYONE: Take care of yourselves. Dont just work out to only look good and attract attention as many of you do. Exercise and keep your body strong not only to feel good and be healthy, but also do it so that you can prepare your body to be able to absorb any type of trauma. If I had NOT been in such good shape, I probably wouldnt be able to post this. Being 43yrs old but in top shape and condition as a teenager paid off!!! - Again, thanks to all of you.
