The “Fast for Families Across America” bus tour – covering 18 states and more than 14,200 miles – kicked off in Los Angeles on February 24 and is targeting 75+ key congressional representatives and mobilizing advocates from across the political spectrum to fast, act and pray for commonsense immigration reform. Waco and Temple are two of eight Texas stops, including Houston, Arlington, Corpus Christi and Plano. “Fast for Families” reignited the immigration debate last November when Eliseo Medina and Cristian Avila – abstained from all food, except for water – for 22 days on the National Mall.
