ACTION ALERT! Veto session starts TOMORROW, and the House and Senate will attempt to override the Governors veto of HB 1326 and SB 506. These dangerous bills move the regulation of captive deer from the Department of Conservation to the Department of Agriculture, something both departments oppose. They also allow for a state beef checkoff program, and further weaken our laws on the foreign ownership of farm land.
