ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES STREAM (Continued) ASO4 LAW CLERK (TRIAL LISTING)Vacancy No. 8596/2014 Duties: The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions are seeking a skilled Law Clerk to fill a Trial Listing Law Clerk Vacancy. The Trial Listing Law Clerk allocates and maintains the ODPP trial list in an efficient, timely and effective manner and provides support to Prosecutors. As the successful candidate, you will ensure that the ODPP Trial List is accurate and up to date, so that ODPP prosecutors and external counsel are appropriately allocated trials in the Supreme and District Courts. As Trial Listing Law Clerk you will be required to liaise closely with prosecutors and the Deputy Director (Counsel) and also with members of the judiciary, court staff, defence counsel, victims, prosecution witnesses, SAPOL and other staff within the ODPP. To be successful in this role, you will need significant experience working in a criminal law environment. You will need to be able to show your experience in using initiative, your excellent communication skills and have the ability to(Advt) ($62806.00/65709.00)diligently prioritise your workload.Special Conditions: Some out of hours work may be required and incumbent must have current SA Driver’s Licence of Class C or equivalent.
