ADOPTABLE TRAINING DOG OF THE WEEK: ANGIE Hi! My name is Angie and I am a very energetic lab mix who has been at Almost Home for far too long. I am very sweet, love to go for walks, play in the back yard, and if you have another dog that likes to play rough and tumble, I would be a perfect addition to your home. I love to play with toys and will try to shove as many tennis balls in my mouth as possible - Ill break my record someday, I swear! I have been attending Almost Homes Training and Socialization Program, and the trainers feel I am very smart and catch on quickly to new things. I am learning to walk well on leash, control my level of play with other dogs play styles, trust strangers, and just enjoy life as a dog. I need somebody to give me a chance very badly so that I can exercise and burn off some of my energy. Volunteers and staff are worried that being in a kennel is starting to get to me because I am chewing and eating my toys, dog beds, towels, etc. ... I never used to do this. Also, I run in circles in my kennel because I am sad that everyone around me keeps getting adopted, but I keep getting overlooked. I love to cuddle and give kisses liked the adopted dogs, so if you think we are a match to foster or adopt, please follow the link to fill out an application, and then you can attend one of our training classes to meet me. The are held every Sunday from 11:00-2:00 p.m. where you will learn the leadership structure taught by our awesome trainers. My foster/adoption also includes a first-day in-home training/introduction by my trainer, funded by the generous donations made to Almost Home. Please give me a chance.
