ADOPTION: Saffron - is believe to be a shepherd mix about a year old. She has been living at the Country Hills Veterinary Clinic in Bulverde, Tx. She was adopted, but was a little to excited with the older couple and was returned to the Country Hills Veterinary Clinic. Other potential adopters have been interested, but being in an older community, not many are wanting a High Energy dog. The ideal family for Saffron would be an young active family, one who is on the go with trips and outdoor outings. Can be around children, but rules and boundaries must be enforced on both Saffron and the children so trust and respect can be created. Activities like running, swimming, long structured walks are perfect, but she has a liking for the treadmill and can travel at a good 3.0 and can walk on it with a leash for 30 minutes so far, her time is starting to extend everyday. She would be considered a Happy Go Lucky and is submissive. She does well with the Pack (20 Pack Members) which is made up of different breeds so she is getting social interaction and learning to play. If interested in meeting or adopting, Saffron will be with the Pause for Paws, Inc. (Street Dog Rescue) at PetSmart 12pm - 4pm, Saturday & Sunday (August 16 & 17) located off 281 & Bitters in San Antonio, TX.
