ADVICE NEEDED for Special Mom #psnm00307 My son has a brain injury from cardiac arrest @ 7 yrs, he is now 16. His tone, what little he had, has been manageable until the last few months when a certain medication by a specific manufacturer became unavailable. His doctor @ Shriners would like to move forward with implanting a baclofen pump. This seems like a big step considering my sons big issues only started around 3-4 months ago. I would like to hear from other parents whether or not they chose to move forward with a pump for their child, and if it was beneficial or not to their child. Thanks.
