AFRICA DEFINE YOURSELF: LET US WITTEDLY EMPLOY TECHNICAL AND/OR ARTISTIC TALENT AND INTELLIGENTSIA LIKE TREVOR NOAH DID, TO DEFEND AFRICA WHILST EXPOSING THE FEEBLE-MINDEDNESS OF WHITE SUPREMACISTS COLONIAL AND IMPERIAL ACTUATED ILL-DEFINITION OF AFRICA FROM THE WEST, BUT ESPECIALLY FROM USA By Senzo Scholar The colonial and imperial media use any programme in any form viz. technical or artistic advertising, business or infotainment, their cult is to discredit and ill-define Africa as one village full wide animals and populated with backward Africans who need salvation from 5 cents western contribution. This is no happenchance, it is a by-product of a more than 400 years old orchestration of the neo-colonial and neo-imperial covert stratagem to foster and indorse white supremacy and black subjugation in the minds of Africans globally, thereby brainwashing them to adulate anything white as superior and anything black and from Africa as inferior to that of western white counterparts. Images which seek to [mis]brand Africa as stated above, are aired repeatedly over and over, and over, and over again, in order to psychologically brainwash the human minds from all walks of life with preponderance of abjectly ill-defined colonial view of Africa’s image. This is not a by-chance Anything good which ought to evince the superiority and African excellence in any faculties of socio-economic and socio-political verve, mien and demeanour is strategically thwarted and covertly concealed by well-engineered ploys and calculated colonial media and broadcasting networks exhibition of Africa from the colonial perspective. This is one of many rationale that Africans in Africa and in Diasporas should shoulder the re-definition of Africa from the Africans’ perspective by Africans instead of expecting the colonial and imperial foes to continue ill-defining Africa. Thanks to many proudly Africans such as Trevor Noah, who have embark upon this long-over-due profound task of defining Africa from the African perspective and by Africans. Above all else as Africans in Diasporas and in Africa let us unite in redefining Africa from our own true perspective. As Africans in Africa and in Diasporas let us fastidiously employ our artistic, technical, business, and/or theatrical talents to redefine Africa from accurate African perspective. Africa must do this in style and eloquently expressive manner that dispel and oust neo-colonially and neo-imperially injected brainwashing of any mind which promotes and espouse white supremacy and black [African] subjugation in a well-contrived modus operandi. To fathom an exemplary illustration of the above-sated, please watch the attached video [https://youtube/watch?v=AHO1a1kvZGo], wherein, South African comedian Trevor Noah, artistically employed his fastidious artistic talent to expose how USA is ignorant about Africa, thereby making specific reference to Ebola and socio-economic development images of Africa from US media perspective versus same from the authentic and real images of African state of play. Trevor Noah averred that his friends warned him not to go to America because of Ebola in USA. His exact words were - My friends warned me they were like, Trevor dont go to the US you will catch Ebola, and I was like, you know what guys, just because they had a few cases of Ebola, doesnt mean that we should cut out travel there, that would be ignorant, right? In this argument Trevor employed reverse psychology to expose how USA government render USA citizens ignorant in order to bar them from visiting Africa so that they can not see themselves the real Africa. The USA government does that in order to make it easier to sustain and perpetuate their ill-definition of Africa from colonial and imperial perspective of Africa. Trevor also exposed that Africa is ill-defined by USA colonial and imperial white supremacists agenda, as To a lot of Americans, Trevor continued, Africa is just AIDS huts and starving children, who you can save for just five cents a day. But, theres a whole other side of Africa you never get to see. Yeah! interjects Jon, Youve got that video of the lions who chase that buffalo and then a crocodile comes up and he grabs it, you know what I mean, and then the buffalo gets away... Trevor tells John thats not what he means, and they play a game called Spot the Africa, In exhibiting the Americans ignorance and misconception of Africa, Trevor used the game called Spot Africa, where he ask the presenter (Jon Stewart) of the US TV show, called The Daily Show to chose a photo that exhibit Africa from true perspective. Trevor presented two photographs are on screen and Jon (and the audience) guesses which was taken in the United States and which is from an African country. In so doing he intelligently showed that the photos created by US FDI depict Africa in an ill-defined portrait of Africa as stated above, but the true photos taken from Africa proves the opposite. Africa needs more artistic African intelligentsia from Africa and Diasporas to write songs, movies and theatrical plays, and employ any form of infotainment (like Trevor Noah did in the attached video) to expose any neo-colonially and neo-imperially actuated ignorant view of Africa, and supplant the same with positive excellent germane view of Africa from African perspective. Aluta Continua!!!
