AFRICAN NATIONS CUP 2015 The teams Joining the host nation Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Tunisia and Congo DR in the next round are Ghana and Algeria. At half time Senegal was still very much in the tournament despite being behind to Algeria but Ghana was level with South Africa meaning Ghana was on the way out. But goals by Bentaleb 82′ for Algeria and Boye 73′ A.Ayew 83′ for Ghana turned the group on its head and Ghana go through as group leaders and Algeria runners up. Which teams do they face next?? Group D, the group i tagged the group of death has the most fascinating standings i have come across in a long time. All teams in the group are level on points (2) and GOAL DIFFERENCE (0). Looks like we could be in for some in-depth tie-breaker situations by the end of the day 28th January. Both games will kick-off the same time at 18.00 UK time. Congratulations to the teams already through, especially the host nation. Things get boring pretty quickly when the host nation gets eliminated early in competitions like this. Good try by Gabon, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde Islands, Zambia, Senegal and South Africa. Better luck next time.
