And his commands are not burdensome, (WE CAN PROVE THAT WE DO AGAPE BY DOING THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD) Q:WHAT ARE THE PRIMARY COMMANDMENTS OF GOD? A: MATTHEW 22:37-38 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. A: MATTHEW 22:39-40 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[a] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (THE SECOND COMMANDMENT IS LIKE THE FIRST BUT THIS TIME AGAPE IS APPLIED TO PEOPLE. BUT THIS DOESNT MEAN THAT THE SECOND IS EQUALLY SAME WITH THE FIRST COMMANDMENT). Q: IS IT POSSIBLE THAT WE LOVE GOD BUT NOT LOVE OUR FELLOWMEN? A: 1 JOHN 4:20-21 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister. A:MATHEW 5:43-44 You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor[a] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, (THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE, COZ IN AGAPE, WE HAVE TO AGAPE OUR ENEMIES. AS GOD WAS ABLE TO FORGIVE THOSE WHO SINS EVEN THOUGH HE IS HURT.) Q: HOW IMPORTANT IT IS FOR US TO LOVE GOD AND OUR FELLOWS ON AGAPES KIND OF LOVE? A:1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-3 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing. (WE GAIN NOTHING IF WE DONT LOVE IN AGAPES KIND OF LOVE) Q: WHAT ELSE AWAITS FOR THE PERSON WHO LOVES IN THE AGAPE KIND OF LOVE? A: 1JOHN 4:12-16 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 13 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
