AHHHH THIS DAY WAS AMEYZENG! Even though Ive been working like a dog for these past few weeks (specially now na busy sa Kaamulan Festival & upcoming Kagay-an Festival) I still managed myself to be motivated enough and trying to love my work despite the pressure and stress. Just this afternoon while having a serious meeting with one of a Citys Tourism Head in exchanging thoughts, ideas and a little bit of this and that.. he stopped the conversation and said. Mr. L: Wait.. How old are you? Me: uhm... Im still 21 Sir (a bit shy since I have this pessimistic thought about age discrimination but I was wrong?) Mr. L: Woah? 21? But you act and talk like a professional marketer. Youre so good with this kind of conversation. I like you. Where did you graduate by the way. Me: (halaka... unsa daw?) (nag loading kadyot kay murag ..... u know na, lain kayog spark iyang mata) Me: sa Liceo de Cagayan University Sir, actually last year lang. Naanad lang gyud ko Sir kay.. mao man gud ni akong trabaho and expertise. (expertise?) Mr. L: No seryoso... youre so different from those persons who visited and presented their proposals to us. Me: ... dapat man gud Sir, both of us will end up on a win-win situation. Mr. L: Sige Jan, because I like you.. pahangyuon tika.. tagaan tikag maayong pwesto then a better exposure. TO MAKE THE LONG STORY SHORT We end up exchanging calling cards and emails.
