AHNEDS MEDIA PLAN WALTER SMITH’S resignation statement that he - TopicsExpress

AHNEDS MEDIA PLAN WALTER SMITH’S resignation statement that he is backing Jim McColl’s move to gain boardroom control panicked Imran Ahmad into making a major mistake. What Smith said stampeded Ahmad and his increasingly frazzled and isolated puppet Charles Green into exploding into ill thought out action which smacked of desperation and led to the Ahmad gang making a blunder which has caused consternation and confusion in the dwindling ranks of their own deluded disciples among the increasingly united-against-them Rangers support. Imran Ahmad and Charles Green called in the spin doctors of Media House. For the Media House name is almost as toxic among the Ibrox fan base as that of Imran Ahmad. One can only wonder at what motivated Media House, who were told by director of communications, Jim Traynor, within hours of Green leaving the board at the end of May that their contract with Rangers was not being renewed, news which pleased all Rangers fans. Whatever their motivation, it was Media House who fixed both television interviews – STV and Sky – for Charles Green on the afternoon before Rangers played Newcastle and it was Media House which also arranged for Green to speak to the Imran Ahmad friendly Sun, along with the Herald. But both barrels backfired spectacularly. For the Green interview on STV once again stripped his bluster to the bone and left him looking like the emperor with no clothes. While the emergence of the fact that it was Media House - whose clients include the Easdales - who have been acting on Imran Ahmad and Charles Green’s behalf, has shocked many in what is left of the Green camp among Rangers fans. Now I can reveal that even arch Rangers hater Philmacgiollabhain seems to be being used as a pawn to try and discredit Jim McColl, Frank Blin and Paul Murray. Check out his Twitter account. If anyone’s fingerprints from the Imran Ahmad gang, or anyone acting on their behalf, are found on Philmacgiollabhain’s claims, they will be forever damned by the Rangers family. While someone is also trying to sweet talk a number of newspapers into believing that Paul Murray will not be accepted as a fit and proper person by the Scottish Football Association, an idea which is as preposterous as it is potty. Especially when you compare Paul Murray’s probity as a person with that of Imran Ahmad and Charles Green’s perceived lack of probity. It was also Media House which issued a statement trying to defend Charles Green after Rangers chief executive Craig Mather told a meeting of 200 fans on Thursday night that he was convening an emergency board meeting within days for the sole purpose of booting Green out of his paid role as a consultant. Leading most supporters to realise that if Imran Ahmad and Charles Green win their fight to return, the first folk they will re-employ will be the spin doctors of Media House. Of course the other aspect of this dirty tricks campaign by the Imran Ahmad gang is to try and use Jim McColl’s support for the Scottish National Party as some sort of anti-Rangers agenda. That aspect is superbly dealt with on The Rangers Standard by Chris Graham whose stature and insight, particularly in dissecting the many falsehoods the Imran Ahmad gang cannot help indulging in, is growing by the day. Rangers supporters are well served by him on The Rangers Standard, the Copland Road Organisation and on Twitter. The truth, though, is that Jim McColl is more than capable of looking after himself, as what he said in interviews with the Record and Herald showed. Basically McColl told Charles Green there was no chance of him lining the Imran Ahmad gangs’ pockets with £14M, adding that there is actually no need for his side to do that to gain control of the Blue Room. Incidentally, I can also reveal that the atmosphere inside the Blue Room on Tuesday evening at the Newcastle match was decidedly frosty towards Green, who cut an increasingly pathetic and isolated figure, lacking his former vigour, leading to many shrewd observers believing he and his puppet master Imran Ahmad know the game is up. What was also pathetic and also served to illustrate Charles Green’s isolation was the way he wedged himself into a seat between James and Sandy Easdale, with pictures making it look as though he was some sort of ageing godfather flanked by his two minders. It was not an edifying sight and was another spectacular PR blunder. And all of these mistakes were the direct result of what Walter Smith said as his parting shot when he resigned and added his powerful voice to the Jim McColl cause of rooting out the Imran Ahmad and Charles Green gang from inside Ibrox. Proving once again what a potent force for the good of Rangers Walter Smith continues to be, even when he is no longer inside the Blue Room.
