AIR POWER DISCUSSION-ANSWER How can you be sure you will make it to heaven when you die? I believe you can be sure of making it up to heaven when you die. This is because there are people in the scriptures who felt sure they will make it to heaven before they died. I want us to some examples. The case of Stephen Stephen said when he was about to die through stoning And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Acts 7:59 The case of Jesus In my Fathers house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:2-3 Jesus was so certain he was going to heaven when he died meanwhile he lived on earth as a man. The case of Paul I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 Why was Paul so sure he was going to heaven although he was a man? He gave the reason: I have kept the faith. He never lost faith in God and kept his faith in God to the end. Its possible to be confident you will make it to heaven when you have kept the faith from all that tried to take it away from you like sin, the flesh, the devil and the world.
