AJK President attend 7th death anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto LARKANA: The 7th martyrdom anniversary of Benazir Bhutto was observed here on Saturday with great reverence and simplicity and Quraan Khawani and fateha khawani was held at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto. Former president and Co-Chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari, Bakhtawar Bhutto Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Faheem, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, Prime Minister AJK Ch. Abdul Majeed, Governor Gilgit-Baltistan, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Bukhari, Rehman Malik, Sherry Rehman Central Information Secretary of PPP Qamar Zaman Kaira, Syed Naveed Qamar, Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah, Manzoor Watto, Farhatullah Babar, Jahangir Badar, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, Senators, Provincial Ministers visited the graves of Benazir Bhutto, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and others. They placed floral wreaths at the grave and offered fateha. Besides, Senators, MNAs, MPAs belongs to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Members of the Central Executive Committee(CEC) and Federal Council(F.C) of PPPP also attended the anniversary. The programme of the anniversary began with Mushaira. Prominent poets from Sindh, Punjab and other parts of the country paid tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto in poetic form. The Co-Chairman of PPP and former president Asif Ali Zardari, Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Faheem, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Jahangir Badar, Agha Siraj Khan Durrani, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Syed Mehdi Shah, and other senior leaders of PPP addressed a public meeting in Garhi Khuda Bux to pay homage to her. They reiterated their pledge to carry forward the mission for which the Shaheed leader had laid down her life. They said that the democracy returned to the country thanks to Benazir Bhttos sacrifices and pledged to work for the betterment of the poor people of the country. Two-minute silence was observed as a mark of respect for the slain leader. Peoples Doctors Forum(PDF) Larkana district, District Health Department and CMC Hospital had established free medical camp to provide medical assistance to the participants of the death anniversary.
