AKS GOVERNORS PENSIONS BILL: A PARALLAX VIEW My aged - TopicsExpress

AKS GOVERNORS PENSIONS BILL: A PARALLAX VIEW My aged grandmother served the government meritoriously for 35 years, retired home into the dull, private, post retirement setting. The last time I checked, she is yet to receive the January pensions, no pensions bill has been passed for this frail men and women on gray who served for 35years(not eight years as governors)! Your excellency we have seen the articulate structures you have put on ground, and we appreciate the fact that ofcourse you are an uncommon transformer, that we agree! But we under no guise will appreciate the reckless bill the state house of assembly passed into law. 100million naira as health bills? Plus a 5bedroom house in Abuja? Are they going to be receiving treatment N cure for AIDS? Why this recklessness with public funds? The money they stole while in government, was that not enough? Your Excellency i heard you say that you have been paying these monies since 2007 you came in, but sir how come the late former governor, Akpan Isemin died at the university of uyo Teaching Hospital due to lack of money for dialysis? Or was he not a former governor? No explanation can make a bad law good, none! Why pay pensions? Is governorship now a career? Was it not supposed to be a service to humanity? Why 100million for health ? Why outside the country? Why didnt they develop the health sector in the state when they were in power? Laws were made for man, and not man for the law, a clear look at the masses and this pensions bill will indicate a great contrast! I only weep for the future...
