ALBION PUBLIC SCHOOLS CANCEL CLASSES FOR WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29 After deciding to open on Wednesday, Jan. 29, the Albion Public Schools have now decided to remain closed another day due to severe cold weather. Marshall Public Schools are on a two-hour delay, said Albion Superintendent Jerri-Lynn Williams-Harper, However, since we were going to have half a day, it was felt that a delay was counterproductive for Albion. We know our staff is probably beginning to feel cabin fever, but we felt this was the safest option, so we are closed for one more day. As of 6:30 a.m. Wednesday the outside temperature was -2 and the wind chill was considerably colder. Taken, with permission, from the Albion eNews.
