ALERT!-EXTRA-EXTRA!: MAN LIVES FOREVER! WHERE? YOU CHOOSE! “How could a loving God SEND PEOPLE to Hell?” This question poses two false impressions: Sham #1, God does not SEND people to Hell. Sham #2, God does not send PEOPLE to Hell (see paragraph #3). But God honors man’s choice. God’s extreme love for the highest point of His creation man, moves God to dignify him thereby consenting to his CHOICE. With all the appeals that God makes to man, if man still chooses Hell, he is free to go—however heartbreaking!!! POINT2PONDER: Hell is everything the Bible claims it to be including an eternal existence without God. Can you imagine this present world, without God? If it’s bad now, how unimaginable would it be then? Hell was not created for man, but for Satan and his demons. Isa 5:14, (MKJV) “So hell has enlarged itself, and opened its mouth without measure…and he who rejoices in her, shall go down into it.” (WOW! What a mouth full.) Mat 25:41, “Then He also shall say to those on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels.” So the expansion, “enlarged itself” [since, it was] “prepared for the Devil and his angels,” of Hell is to accommodate man’s preference. Apparently the initial lodgings are not enough for all that, “rejoices in her.” How sad!!! The second misconception, God doesn’t send PEOPLE to Hell. The word PEOPLE, implies neutrality, and neutrality includes innocence. Nowhere in the Bible are the innocent condemned to Hell. Therefore, PEOPLE do not go to Hell. God’s Word speaks to masses and to individuals, but in all cases, God calls directly to the human heart (mind); rejected, men, women, individually, entrust themselves to Hell, rather than trusting God. Morose!!! POINT2PONDER: We are all sinners! Rom 5:12 (GNB), “ Sin came into the world through one man [Adam], and his sin brought death with it. As a result, death has spread to the whole human race because everyone has sinned.” Now, there are two classes of sinners: Class one, having heard the call of God and having believed it are saved by grace. Ephesians 2:8, “For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God…” Because of God’s Grace (unmerited favor, given), God now sees through the filter of Jesus’ completed work at Calvary’s Cross; His death, burial, and resurrection, all these that have embraced His free gift of salvation. God elects to cover them under the righteous mantel of His Son, Jesus Christ. Gal 3:27 “You were baptized into union with Christ, and now you are clothed… with the life of Christ himself.” In human terms we’re not called, “holier than thou” but sinners saved by God’s grace. The other class is called the Volunteers, they have said no to God’s gift. In God’s economy there are just two options, straddling the fence is not offered. Either you love your Creator God or you don’t. Where will you spend your eternity? The Message, Maranatha!!!
