ALERT!!!! Over the past three weeks, I have been getting snippets of information on some kind of security alert from security organisations in Lagos State. The first was a rumour that Silverbird Galleria was on the hit list of Boko haram. According to this rumour, the DPO in charge of the area had written the Galleria and advised that security be steeped up at the movie theatre. Then yesterday, I heard that the State Government had also issued high security alert on what is said to be serious suspicions of an impending attack by the obnoxious sect some places in the state. While we are trying hard to avoid spreading fear, we owe it a duty to let our people be informed on the dire NEED to be alert at all times. You are your own chief security officer. You may just be the super cop your community, workplace and environment needs at this time. Be VIGITANT at all times Report any suspicious movement or situation to the appropriate security agencies.
