ALERT: Tiny house stolen in Texas From Macy Miller in the Tiny House People Facebook group: Warning! I want to put out a notice. There has recently been a tiny house stolen from a friend of mine. It was 90%+ finished when taken. I have a sneaky suspicion the thief will eventually (sometime between now and soon) try to turn it over and make a quick buck. It has a VIN and title and is pretty recognizable (though theyd rather not have pictures posted), its been reported to the police but the owners are not counting on that going anywhere. If anyone has any suspicious opportunities to buy a cheap tiny house in the future, particularly in the lower part of the country, Id really appreciate hearing about it and possibly seeing a picture. This is not cool and Im completely heartbroken for our fellow tiny houser whove poured their time, money and energy into a home they may not ever get to actually experience. Sad sad news please dont fall into a scam that may come up by purchasing a th that may have to be given back to its owners! if anyone knows of anyone acquiring a house suspiciously about 5 days ago, please shoot me a message! Additional info in that thread: The house was in Texas, and Macy describes it as, The front door has two large relights on either side and is set above the passenger side wheels, gable metal roof. Colors can all be changed but thats the structure of things which would be hard to mess with.
