ALFIE BURMAN There is such a thing as GENERATIONAL FRIENDSHIPS ..... It all began in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa when Uncle Alfie led Lester, my husbands dad, James Lundall to the Lord and when he began to discover God in deeper measure. James was a very young, single man then and was nurtured by Uncle Alfie. The friendship spanned decades with Alfie and James, then Ralph Burman and Lester, Lloyd Burman and Lester, and now our offspring. Uncle Alfie was always a great encouragement to us and at any given moment embraced us with his love and kindness. His love for God bubbled, was tangible, and EXPLOSIVE in that he ignited our hearts regarding the gospel. His fervour never waned! I can well imagine the angels rejoicing today for he is where hes always longed to be - HEAVEN! It is in the sweet by and by that we shall meet on that beautiful shore. REST IN PEACE UNCLE ALFIE.
