ALICANTE GROUP WEATHER UPDATE riday 16th January 2015: Rain, Morning to everyone.....That rain didnt amount to much last night in theses here parts but some areas did get a wee drop. Its still likely to be raining in some areas this morning in our south so if your off out on the commute or having to do that all important school run do take care on those roads......Its been a while since we had reasonable rain and that tarmac will be like dancing on ice!!!.......But, if you are still in the rain or you have grey matter overhead then give it a few hours and sun will be shining!!!......We could see a drop more rain through the night tonight just for good measure!!!.......Moving onto tomorrow, we start the weekend with that wonderful sunshine but if your gonna do something outdoors this weekend then tomorrow it must be.....e Sunday its all change again as we dip back into that greyness and rain in the wee hours and even more rain come Sunday lunchtime onwards, some of which could be heavy!!!......There is a risk now that we, if not AEMET, throw up a warning. Our warnings are clearly unofficial but have proven to be handy to many so do stay tuned over the course of today and tomorrow in case!!!......Sunday is also likely to be windy so do stow any light outdoor furniture items!!!......By Monday we are well and truly into that cold weather with inland temperatures dropping below freezing by night and staying at no more than 5 degrees by day....thats the temperature your fridge runs at is 5 degrees Celsius!!!.......On top of that, from Monday onwards we retain lots of cloud and high chances of rain. The sun will try its best to poke through at times and might often succeed but unsettled it will be Im afraid, with plenty of grey periods during that rain!!!......And as it stands, we are now looking at Friday afternoon or into Saturday next weekend before we see an improvement......Thats it for today, enjoy the good weather later, and I shall return tomorrow with the usual update!!!.....Jim Fraser for your EiALERT NETWORK!!!
